Derived from ICAP’s global daily average transaction volumes in excess of USD 2.3 trillion, more than 40% of which is electronic, ICAP’s unique market information is the original source of prices across a wide range of asset classes, time zones and instruments.
ICAP Information Services offers real-time, end-of-day and historic market data sourced from our global interdealer broking platforms and post-trade businesses, providing authoritative and comprehensive market information across a broad range of asset classes. A significant part of the revenue of this division is sourced from ICAP’s electronic broking business.
In 2008 ICAP signed an agreement integrating ICAP market data into the Xinhua product and service offering. Xinhua is the People’s Republic of China’s largest news and information provider.
ICAP was voted Best Data Provider (Broker) in a poll of financial services professionals at the 2009 Inside Market Data awards. It is the third consecutive year that ICAP Information Services has received this award.
